My name is Tom Barrett and in addition being involved in the day-to-day operations here at eoSurgical, I get to deal with the most important part of all that we do. That is: all of you. When I’m not climbing mountains or running around the countryside, I’m here to ensure that you get the most out of our product, whatever the case. Whether you are the proud owner of an eoSim or simply have a question about what we do, I will happily be there for a chat. Why? Well the answer is pretty simple: because I believe wholeheartedly in the good that we can do together.
When I first laid eyes on an eoSim, I was quite surprised, if not a little intrigued. I mean the word ‘simulator’ doesn’t tend to conjure up the image of a closed white briefcase with a logo and holes in does it? In fact it wasn’t until the case was opened and everything properly set-up that I began to see the true potential of what lay before me. I had in my hands an educational tool for laparoscopic surgery, ready to be used at a moment’s notice: Everything I needed in one place ready to go where I did. Add in SurgTrac, our very own objective instrument tracking software, and you have something just a little bit special.
How many of you regularly have access to a simulator? How many of you have the chance to regularly hone those psychomotor skills and supplement your time in theatre? Our founders thought exactly the same when they developed the eoSim. As practicing surgeons all experienced in laparoscopy, their combined insight and expertise over the years have allowed them to create a product that truly serves to aid in your development. An eoSim is much more than a tool however: if surgical training improves then so too does surgery. As a result the eoSim is simply the cornerstone of a greater movement: Safer Surgery around the globe. It is a movement that our team tirelessly work towards every day.
An eoSim is nothing without people. With each eoSim that we sell, somebody new joins the eoSurgical community. You too can be a part of this, we really are just a click away and always ready to chat and lend a hand wherever we can. Join us and help us make surgery safer around the globe, one eoSim at a time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to meeting and chatting with you all in the future.
